What are the requirements for receiving the Lords Supper?
Though receiving the Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act, it is nevertheless deeply meaningful. This ordinance is for Jesus’ followers (baptized believers) to participate in the celebratory meal. Their prayerful, introspective reflection demonstrates their desire for and commitment to a continuing lifestyle of deepening devotion, communion, unity, trust, obedience, gratitude and service
At RCBC we examine our conscience to make sure we are not living in a deliberate state of sin and we pray for forgiveness before receiving communion as explained in 1 Corinthians 20: 11-24
