Youth Sunday School Ministry
Who Are We?
Our mission is to reach the children of Romulus Community Baptist Church and provide a strong foundation in Christian education. We will endeavor to fulfill Proverbs 22:6
- We aim to faithfully and diligently teach the full council of God, in a God-centered way, using all scripture.
- We aim to progressively nurture the next generation in the hope that they will passionately, know, worship and love God, as the only living God.
- That they might set their hope in God, be totally satisfied in God, and be steadfast, faithful, standing firm in battle.
- That they might trust, obey and serve God, with joy, in a personal, redemptive relationship through Jesus.
- That they might be mighty in prayer.
- That they might be zealous for missions and the spread of the gospel in all circumstances for all peoples.
Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Matthew 28:18-20 “18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
The vision of Romulus Community Baptist Church Sunday School is to be committed to fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. as set forth in Matthew 28:18-20. Also, to lead our Sunday School to understand the New Testament and apply it by involving our children in the twofold mission of the Great Commission: 1. Evangelizing the unsaved. 2. Enhancing the Christian walk of the saved.
Our Vision Is To:
- Prepare our children/youth for a world that is increasingly ungodly.
- Develop biblically correct attitudes in our children/youth so they mature in Christ and show it to all.
- Inspire a love for God and His word in the hearts, minds, and souls of our children/youth.
- Inspire our children/youth to be more than pew sitters, but to become pastors, teachers, evangelists, missionaries, and effective witnesses for Christ.
- Lead children/youth into a saving knowledge of and relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Prepare our children/youth for a world that is increasingly ungodly.
- Inspire children/youth to “BE UNCOMMON” in their service to God.
